Things to Do With Your Dog in TriBeCa

Looking for fun things to do with your dog in TriBeCa? Well, this post is pawfect for you and your pup! We’ve complied a list of some fun activities!

1: Dog Parks

Bring Fido to Hudson River Park‘s Dog Run, as the newest addition to the park is just for dogs! Dog Run is between Pier 25 and Pier 26. Some cool features at this park include: a separate play area for both small and large dogs; pup water fountains for when your pup tires out and needs a quick drink; sprinklers in the summertime that are step-activated; umbrella’s and trees for shade on those hot, sunny days; and blue pavement, specifically designed for dogs and their color-blindness.

2: Water 4 Dogs

Since it’s almost summertime, you can take your pup to the swimming pool…What? Yes, we said it, swimming pool for dogs. Water 4 Dogs is a rehabilitation center, where they also offer private appointments to bring in your dog for some swimming exercise. How fun is that?!

3: Bubby’s

It’s not all the time when you can bring your pup to a restaurant with you. Bubby’s is a pet-friendly restaurant. So you can eat and your pup can join you! It offers a wide-variety of traditional American food, all made from scratch!

4: Busy Working?

Are you super occupied with work and don’t have much time on your hand to spend with your pup? Get a BarkBud for your furry-friend while you can’t be there. BarkBud offers in-home visits and dog walks anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. You’ll get pictures, a GPS-tracked map of where your dog walked as well as notes while your dog was with his/her BarkBud. It’s the attention your pup will love while you’re at work! Click here for more information or to book your dog a BarkBud.

5: Family Fun Day at School For the Dogs (Saturday, May 16th)

If you’re looking something to do with your family and pups this weekend, this is an event to swing by. It’s a fundraiser with animal-themed crafts/games, prizes, raffles and pawfect/purfect dogs and cats you can adopt. There is a $10/child admission fee. The proceeds will go to the humane education programs for Pillow for Paws and YAP Club.

Until next time,
